Hey everybody, we’re hosting a CCW match this Saturday Mar 31 at the Nampa Outdoor Range.  Setup starts at 0830.  The match will consist of 6 stages, anticipating 100-120 rounds.  This being a match emphasizing EDC guns the max round count per stage will be 20 rounds so please plan accordingly and bring a gun and enough mags to complete the stage.  $15/person, NRAGC members get a $5 discount.

Scoring will be Time Plus Penalties.  So essentially your score will be the raw time it took you to shoot the match plus whatever penalties you may have incurred.  Penalties include:  Failure to Neutralize (1 A-zone or 2 hits anywhere inside outer perf), steel left standing, hit on No-shoot, foot faults, failure to shoot at, etc.

Equipment:  This is a competition that promotes the use of EDC guns and gear.  A few guidelines:

Gun:
•   Minimum caliber:  .380 acp / .38 Special
•   Maximum caliber:  .45 acp.  Max velocity of 1,600 fps regardless of caliber.
•   Minimum capacity:  5 rounds (mag or cylinder)
•   Pistol with mag inserted must fit in a box with the internal dimensions of:  8 15/16” x 6” x 1 5/8”.
•   No capacity limitations.  Magazine extensions may be used provided the gun with magazine inserted fits in the box.
•   Guns with lights installed are acceptable, provided it fits in the box.

Gear:
•   Handgun must be carried in a holster that is suitable for EDC.
•   Holster must position the gun on on the shooter’s strong side.  Appendix carry is permitted.
•   No small-of-back, cross-draw, or shoulder holsters.  No off-body carry in a bag, purse, or murse unless specified in the WSB.
•   Extra magazines may be carried anywhere on the body including pockets.
•   Gun and magazines must be concealed beneath a cover garment when hands are raised above your head.

Divisions:  All competitors will be divided into the following divisions:
John Wick:  Single or double full-size handguns, aka 1911, CZ SP-01, Glock 17, etc.  All guns with electronic red dot sights will be placed in the JW division regardless of barrel length or capacity.

Goldilocks:  Single or double stack compact guns, aka Glock 19’s, CZ P-01’s and the like.

I Should Have Brought A Bigger Gun (ISHBABG):  Single stack subcompacts, aka M&P Shield, Glock 43, etc…, real baller EDC guns that people actually carry.

For the love of god, it’s division not class...
Hope is a lousy strategy, but sometimes it is good tactics.

Plan B should not be Plan A twice as hard.

If you're happy and you know it, clap your... aw hell, never mind...
